Rick and Staci came up for Christmas Eve dinner. We had some snacks, and Bruno made paella.

More snow......

Alex keeping a path around the hottub cleared.

Is that.........the sun?

We wound up with probably a little over 2 feet of snow.

Bruno goes out to the shop every morning, so I kept shoveling, and shoveling a little path for him.

Now doesn't sitting out on the deck look inviting!

Christmas break comes a little early--Dec. 17th

The first of our snow. We'd still had a little bit from the snow on the 13th, so it quickly accumulated. By noon we had nine inches of snow!

A visit with Santa

Nicole was not too excited to be going for a visit with Santa, but since she was all dressed up for her Christmas concert we went. At first she was very hesitant, but Santa soon got her talking and they had a very nice visit.

A day for Christmas Concerts--Dec. 16th

Braving the snowy roads I went to Nicole's Christmas Concert in the afternoon, and Marcus' in the evening.

Marcus, Alissha (on his left) and the rest of Synergy, sang several more traditional Christmas songs. Marcus had two solo parts in "White Christmas".

Karl, Marcus and Austin waiting for their parts to sing.

Men's choir.

Stephen, Marcus and Nick.

Concert Choir

Nicole walking in to the gym for the concert.

You can barely see her in the back row, singing "Rudolph".

They sang "Jingle Bells" too, they were so cute and did such a good job. Considering they had little time for practice at school, then the am kindergarten didn't have school for two days prior to the concert, the kids did great!

First snow of the year!

On Saturday, Dec. 13th, it started to snow around 1:00 in the afternoon. It was still snowing when we went to bed. We accumulated about 4-5 inches. Because of the dropping temperatures it looks like it may stick around for several days. On Sunday Alex and Nicole went out to play.

Alex shoveled the walkway first thing.

Just not good sledding weather.

Packing it in.

I hope she looks for yellow snow first.
