Yes, we have been working on our house for four years now. Last year we did very little on it, because we were so burnt out, but we had to kick it in gear this summer. All we really had left to do is the siding on the back of the house. So, we ripped off the old siding around the house, and the deck.
We then resided and painted. Now the back looks like the front!
Then we decided to buy a new hot tub. I didn't want to put the hot tub in the deck like the old one, because I want more deck space. So we had to pour a new patio for the hot tub. So that's another project.
Bruno had a good time playing with the excavator.
Nicole helped with shoveling 4 yards of gravel.
Then Bruno gave her a lesson on tractor driving.
New stairs from the laundry room.
Freshly poured patio. We wound up having to wheelbarrow 9 yards of concrete! My back was tired when we were done.
New patio and hot tub. This winter's project will be to build a privacy screen/trellis around the side and back part of the patio. And then there's the rest of the deck to tear apart and rebuild. It's never ending!!
